Large, comprehensive product catalogues or smaller, one-off printed materials, price lists, product information sheets, ads, brochures, labels… The list of materials your customers ask for and which information is suitable is almost infinite. Let C4 produce it all for you.
Producing printed materials is an extensive and complex process involving a number of inter-team crosschecks and contributions by different people. Externally, this might include project managers, AD, copywriters, photographers, translators and printeries; and internally, perhaps product managers and construction staff – all of whom contribute material in different formats and amounts.
Regardless of whether it concerns a new production or the updating of existing material, the process is largely the same. Thanks to C4 ability to create a well-defined workflow with clearly designated areas of responsibility, production time can be significantly reduced. C4 also allows you to set deadlines and perform checks on the progress of individual tasks to ensure that they are carried out according to plan.
The production of printed materials is made even more effective thanks to an optional feature in C4 – a plug-in that creates a seamless link to Adobe InDesign. All information entered in C4 can be made available directly in InDesign.
In addition to speeding up layout work, the quality of text and images is also assured, as only information that has been checked and approved in C4 is made available.
It is also often possible to create the same link between C4 and other layout tools such as Framemaker, if preferred, in order to automate production as far as possible.
C4 lets you fine-tune your processes for optimal efficiency and thereby generate lasting savings.
